Touching artworks by South-African artist Lize Krüger presented at the SWISSARTEXPO 2021

From August 25 to 29, 2021 at the SBB Eventhalle at Zurich Main Station

Zurich (ptp038/17.08.2021/16:00) With Lize Krüger, this year's SWISSARTEXPO in Zurich gets an extraordinary touch of profound expressive art.

Born and raised in South Africa, Lize Krüger is a trained painter who combines very special qualities and experiences in her lively and soulful art. Not only her strong personality and art studies, but also fate have had a significant influence on Lize Krüger's creative work. After tragically losing her brother and son, the emotions and will to be heard just shot out of Kruger's body and found their way onto the canvas. A canvas that is not only a reflection of what she experienced, but has since dealt with worldly and social ills. The pain, grief and anger that is in many people, who are touched by the suffering, hardship and powerlessness of numerous fates of innocent people, find in the works of the creator a real opportunity to master their emotional world.

"I place great importance on the appearance of the robin in my life. Apart from being a universal symbol of change, growth and renewal, it always shows up when I need support and courage. " - This is how she describes her important priority. This courage is probably her most impressive talent. Her artworks combine both first-class painting techniques and social themes that seem heavy yet divine in their unvarnished truth. All the vulnerability of her and the souls of people who have had extraordinary and emotional experiences in their lives are given a space in the paintings by the fearless Lize Krüger. The creative is here the stronger means of expression and the better alternative to repression.

Lize Krüger uses her current primary focus to create dense and layered archival pigment prints. An impressive commissioned project at the Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey in Cornwall, England and exhibitions in South Africa, Lisbon, Portugal, New York, Austria and Switzerland are testament to the artist's popularity and gifted talent.

From August 25 to 29, 2021, visitors to SWISSARTEXPO will be able to admire the original artworks of Lize Krüger in the venerable SBB Eventhalle in Zurich.

An exclusive art catalog with further heart-touching works will of course again be available on site as a precious memento.
