Ludwigsburg (ptp020/08.03.2022/10:35)

AICHELIN Service GmbH supports a renowned European automotive component supplier and its US subsidiary with an extensive maintenance project of industrial furnace systems for heat treatment. This project was launched in November 2021, is planned to last several months, and also includes the delivery of service and spare parts amounting to Eur 2.1 million euros. The maintenance measures ensure the production safety of the plants and guarantee high delivery capacity of the customer.

For over five years, the subsidiary of the technology group has already been successfully operating several AICHELIN plants in the US. The plants from the AICHELIN "heatXpress" series are successfully used for the production of car body parts for passenger cars.

The AICHELIN Group's U.S. company, AFC-Holcroft, is also involved in this project and, together with its European service colleagues, is ensuring the provision of a high quality of service to the customer. At peak times, up to 20 AICHELIN service employees will be on site in the US within several project phases. The aim of the current maintenance project is to update the plants to the latest technological standards over the coming months.
