NorCom Information Technology GmbH & Co. KGaA: NorCom wins Hessian Central Office for Data Processing (HDZ) as a new customer

München (pta025/16.11.2020/12:35 UTC+1) NorCom has been awarded the contract for a lot in the tender from the Hessian Central Office for Data Processing (HDZ). The contract relates to services from NorCom for HDZ in the field of MS SQL Services and will initially run for two years with two options for extensions.

The HDZ is an attractive new customer for NorCom: In terms of content, NorCom supports the HDZ in implementing a modern, high-performance e-government program for several thousand users. For this purpose, a database platform based on MS-SQL is to be operated and further developed. In addition to the installation and configuration of the systems, the specific tasks also include monitoring, programming support and administration.

"The HDZ is an important new customer for us - especially against the backdrop of the ongoing corona crisis," explains Dr. Tobias Abthoff. "Especially in uncertain times, our clien-tele from the public sector ensures stability. We are pleased that we were able to expand our customer base in this area."

NorCom estimates the annual order volume in the mid six-digit range, but no minimum purchase has been agreed with the customer.
