Zurich, Switzerland (ptp025/17.07.2019/17:00) - The artist Francesco Cusumano, born 1964 in Sicily, announces today that his artworks have been accepted by the creative committee of the Swiss art festival SWISSARTEXPO. An exquisite selection of his works will be on display during the exhibition. The art exhibition will take place from 15th to 19th August 2019 in Zurich's main railway station hall - around 400,000 visitors are expected.
Even when others were still playing with building blocks, Francesco Cusumano preferred to use paint and paper. His childhood and youth were marked by an early passion for creative work. This later became a common thread in his life, so he completed a basic apprenticeship as a frame artist and later ran his own specialist shop "Temperli Art" in the same field of activity.
Looking at his works, it quickly becomes apparent that Francesco Cusumano mastered his craft. The abstract acrylic paintings are able to tell an individual story to each viewer. "The turn to abstract painting opened up my very own world of pictures for me," explains the artist. The conscious use of cleverly placed contrasts and exciting structures lends the works a captivating charisma that invites one to marvel, reflect and linger. So it's no surprise that Francesco Cusumano's art has been well received both nationally and internationally. His works have already been shown worldwide in various exhibitions and galleries.
Today he also announces his new artist catalogue. The artist's catalogue shows a variation of his works, which are shown to their best advantage thanks to the high-quality printing. Anyone wishing to see for themselves the new art catalogue and the breathtaking works by Francesco Cusumano is cordially invited to do so live in Zurich during the SWISSARTEXPO.
