The market for telecoms equipment in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) has grown in the previous year. As market researchers Canalys http://www.canalys.com report in a press release on their website, overall line shipments in the EMEA for the full year were up 7.1 per cent to 20.3 million. This has been the most positive year since 1999, when companies were investing heavily to achieve Y2K compliance.
