BroadVision Announces the Appointment of Karl Klarmann to Lead CEE Operations

Klarmann joins Arthur Vonchek, senior vice president and general manager of EMEA, as part of an expanded executive team. Karl Klarmann brings to the company more than 20 years of management experience in the enterprise applications market. Based in Munich, Klarmann will lead BroadVisions sales and operation efforts in Central and Eastern Europe. Klarmann comes to BroadVision after serving most recently as a senior advisor to top venture capital firms in Germany, as well as global senior vice president of sales and services for a portfolio company offering B2B, B2C and B2E portal applications. Previously, Klarmann held key positions with high-visibility software companies including managing director, Europe, for Bowstreet; managing director sales, Europe, for Critical Path; managing director, Central Europe, for Netscape Communications; and director sales, Central Europe, for Next Computer.
