Nexus AG: SmartLiberty becomes part of the Nexus Group: "Accelerating digitization of nursing homes in Europe"

With the acquisition of 90% of the Swiss solution provider SmartLiberty SA, Le Landeron (CH), NEXUS is strengthening its position in the digitization of long-term care. SmartLiberty SA is a leading provider of digital alerting and communication solutions in long-term care. The cooperation aims to accelerate the digitization of nursing homes in Europe with innovative overall solutions.

For more than 6,000 customers in 42 countries, Nexus offers a complete range of software solutions for hospitals, rehabilitation and long-term care facilities. NEXUS is already the market leader in the Swiss nursing home market and serves over 600 customers in inpatient and outpatient long-term care.

SmartLiberty has improved the safety and well-being of residents in long-term care facilities with innovative digital alarm and communication solutions in recent years and has realized strong growth in Switzerland. With approximately CHF 8.0 million in revenue and over 40 employees, SmartLiberty is a leader in this field. The company's innovative technologies include motica smartphone apps, wireless alarm systems, mobile resident call devices and special sensor technology, ensure that residents receive timely and efficient care.

As part of the NEXUS Group, SmartLiberty can use the extensive expertise and international network of NEXUS in the healthcare sector and market its products throughout Europe.

At the same time, SmartLiberty solutions complement the NEXUS product portfolio in an ideal way. Nursing Homes can now obtain complete digital solutions from one source. The resident documentation, the billing system and the alarm and communication systems will now be offered internationally as integrated complete solutions.
