TC Unterhaltungselektronik AG (WKN 745420) today reported the development of a novel KYC (Know Your Customer) service that combines maximum data security with ease of use. In addition, the service, which is already in the public test phase, is designed for international application.

"There are no borders on the Internet. At the same time, the demand for effective methods to protect companies and individuals from fraud, data theft, insult and fake news is growing. Here, effective verification of customers and members, e.g. in social networks, can make a valuable contribution" explains Catherine Konopaske, COO of TCU AG.

Under the name SafeIdent, the TCU development team has created an effective tool for online verification of users and customers that can be adapted and operated worldwide to meet national requirements. "We are proud that a first field test with more than ten thousand verifications has been successfully completed. Internet users from more than 50 countries were verified in compliance with the law", says Daniel Settgast, CEO of TCU AG.

The special feature of SafeIdent is its orientation as an international application, i.e. Internet users from all over the world can be verified with SafeIdent. A specially developed software is used, which can be booked by companies as SaaS (Software as a Service). SafeIdent can be adapted exactly to the respective requirements so that legal requirements are fulfilled at all times.

Special emphasis is placed on data protection. The data of Internet users is verified and then stored in highly encrypted form, making misuse practically impossible. Verified users then receive a personal ID that they can use to register on participating websites without having to enter their data again.
