S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG: Q4 shows negative operational result but positive trend

Vienna (pta004/30.12.2010/09:25 UTC+1) S&T informs today that the 4th quarter is expected to conclude with a negative operational result, deviating from the estimate communicated with the publication of the Q3 results on October 28. Nevertheless, the development shows a positive trend, as we expect a better operating EBIT than in Q3 (EUR -4.6 million).

Q4 EBIT is expected to be positive in all markets outside the German speaking area and Japan. The publication of the audited results is scheduled for 31 March 2011.

Group EBIT is also dependent on the amount of an expected goodwill impairment. A statement on the respective amount can only be made after completion of the investor and refinancing negotiations which significantly influence the corporate planning.

Andreas Frech will resign for personal reasons from his role as chairman of the supervisory board at the next supervisory board meeting in January 2011. Mr. Frech will remain member of S&T's supervisory board.

Clean up and speed up

"The key message for the year 2011 is 'clean up and speed up'. We will focus on our core business, put great emphasis on the customer and create optimum conditions for the future", said Martin Bergler, speaker of the management board.
