Biofrontera AG: Early repayment of EIB loan

Biofrontera AG (ISIN: DE0006046113) today decided to repay the loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) prematurely.

Biofrontera AG previously announced that its US subsidiary Biofrontera Inc. had completed a successful capital raise by way of an initial public offering in the US ("IPO") in order to finance Biofrontera Inc. independently from Biofrontera AG.

In the light of of the cash inflow to the Group, the Management Board, together with the Supervisory Board of Biofrontera AG, have decided to repay the loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) of nominally EUR 15 million in full, including interest and other fees. The total volume of the repayment (depending on various variables) including interest and other fees amounts to around EUR 20 million.
