Sunways AG: Dismissal of remaining employees

Konstanz/Germany (pta018/02.05.2014/20:55 UTC+2) 2 May 2014 - The employment contracts of all employees of Sunways AG (SWW: GR, SWWG.DE, ISIN DE0007332207), that were not employed in the solar inverter business and building-integrated photovoltaics, were terminated by the end of April by the insolvency administrator. A contract for the sale of these parts of the company was signed on 30 April 2014. The dismissal is based on a social plan with balance of interests, which the workers' council of Sunways AG had agreed. All terminations were made taking into account the individually applicable notice periods. The dismissals affect about 50 percent of the employees previously working at Sunways AG in Konstanz.
