Yahoo has published patches for it s Instant Messenger (IM) and chat client. According to the company, both applications are susceptible to buffer overflow attacks. As soon as users log into Yahoo's IM, they will be asked to install the updates http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mesg/use/use-45.html .
