VOLKSWAGEN AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT: Supervisory Board Approves Comprehensive Future Plan for the Volkswagen Group

At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board unanimously approved a comprehensive "Future Plan (Zukunftsplan)" presented by the Board of Management for the transformation of the Volkswagen Group. The Future Plan lays the groundwork for making the Volkswagen Group and its brands more efficient, more competitive, and better positioned for the future. In the opinion of the Board of Management and the Supervisory Board, implementation of the plan is absolutely essential to maintain the Volkswagen Group's competitiveness and secure it sustainably for the future.
The Board of Management will publish detailed information on the contents of the plan in the near future.
