Study: Good mums, less alcohol

Teenagers who have a good relationship with their mums are less likely to become addicted to alcohol or drugs, according to an international study. Researchers from the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Problems (SFA) in the Swiss town of Lausanne conducted a study of some 4,000 school children aged between 14 and 15 from around Europe - including pupils from Newcastle upon Tyne.
