Korean electronic giant Samsung has developed the world's largest 5-inch plastic thin film transistor-liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panel for mobile and portable applications, the company has announced. As the Korea Times http://times.hankooki.com reports, the electronic manufacturer's 5-inch transmissive plastic colour LCD panel beats the 4-inch reflective plastic LCD panel previously developed by Sharp in both size and picture clarity, according to Samsung.
