The Payments Group Holding GmbH & Co. KGaA: Portfolio companies AuctionTech and Cognicare AI specify financial targets for the first time

Frankfurt am Main (pta015/06.08.2026/11:21 UTC+2)

  • AuctionTech derives revenue expectations of several million euros by 2030
  • Cognicare AI aims to achieve a revenue run rate of 5 million euros by the end of 2029

Frankfurt/Main, 6 August 2026 – The Payments Group Holding (PGH), a holding company based in Frankfurt am Main that was founded in 2012 and renamed in August 2024, presents more concrete financial targets for its portfolio companies AuctionTech and Cognicare AI for the first time.

AuctionTech expects revenues of several million euros by 2030, at an EBITDA margin of nearly 50 % (auctiontech.com). This is based on a promising growth initiative in the global high-end luxury real estate segment, the implementation of which is imminent following further progress made in recent weeks. Through its SaaS-based white-label solution PropNow for digital bidding and offer processes in the real estate market, AuctionTech is the European market leader (propnow.com). PGH holds a 36 % stake through its wholly owned subsidiary German Startups Group VC.

Cognicare AI aims to achieve a revenue run rate of more than 1 million euros in 2027. By the end of 2029, the company's AI-based applications are expected to be in use at 10 % of care facilities in Germany, with a revenue run rate of 5 million euros (cognicare.ai). Cognicare AI expects an EBITDA margin of around 50 % in this context. These financial targets are based on the results of the structured customer acquisition successfully implemented in recent months. Cognicare AI already offers proven, highly sought-after applications for the growing number of senior care facilities and is a spin-off from the company builder Softmax AI (softmax-ai.com). Through its 32 % stake in Softmax AI, PGH indirectly holds 23% of Cognicare AI.

In the assessment of PGH's management, the value of each of these two holdings could, viewed individually, eventually significantly exceed PGH's current market capitalization of less than 3 million EUR. In addition, PGH holds further promising investments and projects, as well as other assets, in particular financial receivables.
