LaCie "silverscreen" saves up to 80 GB of multimedia

The French manufacturer of peripheral devices for PCS and Macintosh computers LaCie http://www.lacie.com has launched a portable USB hard drive, which can be plugged directly into multi-standard television sets. The new silverscreen hard drive comes in 40GB or 80GB capacities and is ideal for travellers, offering films, music and photos, the company say.
