Number of Russian mobile users doubles

The number of new mobile phone users in Russia has doubled, according to a recent report. As the Russia Journal http://www.russiajournal.com reports, data presented in an analytical report by ACM-Consulting showed that the number of mobile subscribers in December 2004 was twice November's numbers, reaching 8.3 million people across Russia. At the end of last year, the total amount of mobile telecommunications subscribers was 73.9 million people.
