North Korea to encourage IT and computer use
KCNA reports "great performance"

According to an announcement made by the North Korean news agency KCNA, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea intends to start an IT education programme. The government, which until now has not been known for its computer technology, has raised the number of IT subjects at universities and colleges and also intends to reach "advanced teaching methods" at the institutions.
