Nokia announces optics deal with Carl Zeiss

Finnish mobile giant Nokia http://www.nokia.com has signed a deal with Carl Zeiss to incorporate the world's leading optics company's products to Nokia's camera phones. As the company reports in a press release on its website, the two companies will bring the design expertise and stringent quality requirements of Carl Zeiss to Nokia's product creation process for high-end camera devices. Consumers will be able to capture, share, store and print better quality images with Nokia's flagship imaging devices, the company said.
