iQ Power AG: Discover Energy announces new Master Distributor for the Hong Kong and Macau markets

- Pro International first orders now being distributed in Hong Kong and Macau

Hong Kong / Zug, 16.10.2014 (pta033/16.10.2014/16:20 UTC+2) Discover Energy International Limited, Hong Kong, announces the first new Master Distributor in Hong Kong/Macau. A Supply Agreement has been signed with Pro. International Limited. Pro is distributing Discover's Eco, Eco Premium and BULL brands in Hong Kong. The company's Extreme Duty Commercial Batteries and Automotive Starter Batteries with DISCOVER MIXTECH (utilizing iQ Power's new generation technology) are included in the initial product offering.

Pro. International Limited has been in the business of importing, exporting and distributing tyres, rims, automobile batteries and transportation equipment since 1994. As the transportation industry is one of the biggest industries in Hong Kong, in 2000 the parent company, Pro. International Limited established two additional companies, namely Protyre (Hong Kong) Limited and Pro Machinery & Equipment Limited.

Protyre (Hong Kong) Limited is a wholesaler & retailer of various brands of high performance tyres such as Bridgestone, Pirelli, Michelin, Dunlop, etc., and rims and batteries in Hong Kong and Macau. While Pro Machinery & Equipment Limited (PMEL) mainly deals in various kinds of transportation equipment such as Municipal Waste Vehicles, Special Trucks, Container Trailers, Tank Semi-Trailer, Log Transport Trailer, and heavy duty Transportation Equipment etc. As of the end of 2011, PMEL had more than 60 percent market share in semi-trailers and special vehicles in Hong Kong. In recent years, great efforts were made to expand the business to China, South Africa, Indonesia, South America, etc.
