Microsoft founds anti-virus alliance
Platform together with Network Associates and Trend Micro

Microsoft has announced it plans to found an anti-virus alliance together with security firms Network Associates and Trend Micro. The new platform, called Virus Information Alliance (VIA), will regularly inform Microsoft customers about viruses circulating over the Internet.
