Hutchison to tear down Nokia UMTS nodes
Bitter moment for Finnish mobile giant

Finnish world mobile hardware leader Nokia http://www.nokia.com appears to be having a strain of bad luck with UMTS. According to various reports, Hutchison Whampoa's UMTS provider 3 http://www.three.com.hk has ordered the replacement of 700 UMTS-Node-Bs transmitters with nodes from other companies because Nokia's WCDMA hardware did not pass interoperability tests.
