Frequentis AG: FREQUENTIS announces preliminary figures for the first half of 2026: Significantly positive EBIT expected
Vienna / Austria (pta019/16.07.2026/17:35 UTC+2)
In the first half of 2026, numerous milestones with an impact on revenue and profit were achieved, which had originally been planned for the second half of the year. This resulted in a corresponding shift in revenue and earnings into the first half of 2026.
Thanks to this positive performance, revenue for the first half of 2026 is expected to rise to around EUR 340 million, according to preliminary figures (first half of 2025: EUR 236.8 million). EBIT is expected to be in positive territory at around EUR 15 million in the first half of 2026 (first half of 2025: EUR -4.3 million).
Order intake is expected to rise to around EUR 360 million (first half of 2025: EUR 309.0 million).
The result for the first half of 2026 is attributable to the partial shift in the seasonal pattern that is otherwise typical for the business, whereby revenue and profit are usually higher in the second half of the year than in the first. This shift in the seasonal pattern is due to the accelerated progress of a few large-scale projects and cannot be regarded as sustainable.
The outlook for the full year 2026 (compared with the full year 2025) is therefore as follows:
- Increase revenues by about 15% (previously "about 10%")
- Increase order intake (unchanged)
- EBIT margin of around 7.0% (unchanged)
The Half-year Financial Report 2026 will be published on 11 August 2026, as planned.
