Another emergence of anonymous defamatory letters
- Warning against baseless or even absurd anonymous allegations against German Tech Holding
- Indications of origination by the SGT Group
Frankfurt/Main, 16 September 2026 – German Tech Holding (GTH) is once again recording the emergence of anonymous defamatory letters. Attached a letter like that, once again, is an email with redacted names. GTH now has an unredacted version of this email. The recipients redacted by the anonymous sender are partners of SGT Capital LLC (SGTLLC), which claims to be a global private equity asset manager, Carsten Geyer, Joseph Pacini and Marianne Rajic. No others received the email at the time. GTH regards this as an indication that one or more of the redacted recipients is the originator or are the originators of the defamatory letter, the content of which GTH assesses as presumably criminally relevant, which would also explain the sender's anonymity and the redactions. GTH asks that all letters concerning it with critical content be viewed with the utmost scepticism and welcomes any information about such letters. It is available at any time to provide clarification in the event of questions.
GTH regards the renewed emergence of anonymous defamatory letters as further evidence of its previously expressed assumption that the SGT Group is under massive pressure, among other things on account of its multi-million-euro liabilities towards GTH, some of which are overdue in GTH's view. From this GTH concludes the expectation that the SGT Group's stance, which had at times already turned constructive, will culminate in a settlement agreement soon. Irrespective of this, GTH expects to receive significant payments of 0.5 to 1 million euros as early as 2026, with the remainder following in the period from 2027 to early summer 2029. GTH's receivables from the SGT Group alone amount to 54 cents per share and thus more than double the current stock market price of the GTH share.
