80 per cent of mobile users worldwide receive spam

Around 80 per cent of mobile phone users have received spam, according to a new study of consumers and mobile operators. As Information Week http://www.informationweek.com reports, this could be very detrimental to the mobile operators as most of the users who have received mobile spam blame the operators, according to the study. The study also found that users are more likely to change operators than mobile phone numbers to fight mobile spam.
