Drilling Results and Testing Program Summary

The Hochfeld-1 ("HOCH-1") shallow gas exploration well was drilled, cased and completed encountering up to eight (8) biogenic gas reservoirs within the Hall basin floor fan formation ("Hall")* and the Base Hall Channel formation ("Hall Channel'')** through gas shows while drilling and logging results.

  • Well testing is being undertaken in two (2) phases. Phase 1 (which has already commenced) is focussed on two (2) zones in the upper Hall as well as a zone in the Hall Channel. Phase 2 testing will focus on Hall Channel zones only (refer to figure 2).
  • The first Hall zone tested in phase 1 produced water free gas at a stable flow rate averaging 2.7 MMCFPD (equivalent to 450 boepd) over an 11-hour well test period (refer to ASX release 23 June 2026). The well was shut in to record a down hole pressure build up over approximately two weeks. The pressure build up analysis of the zone indicates excellent reservoir productivity (3.5 MMCFPD potential) with a sand extent of at least 600 metres from the HOCH-1 wellbore.

Further testing of the well has been delayed due to logistical restrictions in procuring an explosive license for perforation. Testing additional gas zones is scheduled for the week commencing 24th of August.

Post Drill Mapping and Testing of Base Channel Sands

Recently reprocessed pre stacked depth migrated ("New PSDM") 3D seismic mapping of the Hall Channel Sands intersected in the deeper section of the HOCH-1 well have been correlated to nearby wells indicating the potential for a large lateral extension of several sand bodies planned to be tested during the remaining program (refer to figure 2).

  • A Hall sand and a Hall Channel sand will be tested during the remaining phase 1 test program later this month. The two (2) zones will be perforated and produced together (comingled) followed by a well shut in and pressure build up phase with down hole pressure gauges.
  • Following phase 1, the testing of at least two (2) deeper Hall Channel sand zones is planned during phase 2. A work over rig will be required to drill out a cement plug to access the deeper zones.

Post drill mapping of the Hall Channel sands intersected in HOCH-1 can be correlated to wells approximately 2.5 to 3 kilometres away indicating potentially large stratigraphic trap areas for at least two (2) Hall Channel sands which will be tested during the remaining phase 1 program and the phase 2 testing program (refer to figure 3).

* The Hall zones are characterised as more evenly distributed basin floor fan reservoirs.

** The Hall Channel zones are characterised as elongated lens shaped channel reservoirs.

ADX Executive Chairman, Mr Ian Tchacos, said "The HOCH-1 well testing results to date are encouraging. The first basin floor fan sand interval of the Hall formation tested has shown excellent productivity characteristics and lateral continuity.

"The yet to be tested Hall Channel sand system are very prospective and productive in the area. The relatively thin deep marine Hall Channel sands have yielded several relatively large gas discoveries ranging between 25 to 40 BCF. A single well to the East of HOCH-1 has recovered 10 BCF from several channel sands

"Post drill mapping work of the deeper Hall Channel sands intersected in the HOCH-1 using recently completed, reprocessed pre stacked depth migrated 3D seismic has yielded promising results. The mapping of thin sands intersected in the HOCH-1 well which can be correlated to nearby historic wells has increased our confidence that the HOCH-1 well has intersected a number of potentially extensive sand bodies.

"We look forward to the results of the remaining phase 1 testing program in the coming weeks followed by the phase 2 testing program in the near future."
