Corporate News for the Capital Market
- Peach Property Group already below its 2030 target for Greenhouse Gas Emissions in its portfolio, long-term goal remains a climate-efficient portfolio by 2050
- Use of artificial intelligence (AI) to collect consumption and emissions data ensures a more efficient and transparent analysis of environmental emissions
- Peach Property Group awarded a "B" rating by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) for the second time and the EPRA Sustainability Best Practices Recommendations (sBPR) Gold Award for excellent ESG reporting for the third consecutive year
Peach Property Group AG ("Peach Property Group"), a real estate investor focused on rental apartments in Germany, has published its 2025 Sustainability Performance Factsheet based on the EPRA Sustainability Best Practices Recommendations. The factsheet shows that the portfolio's greenhouse gas emissions intensity has been reduced for the third consecutive year. For the first time, the carbon footprint was calculated using an AI-powered solution, significantly improving the efficiency of data collection. Positive trends are also evident in employee satisfaction and workplace safety; at the same time, Peach Property Group remains committed to sound corporate governance and responsible business management.
Decarbonization on Track: Portfolio Energy Efficiency Further Improved
With a greenhouse gas emissions intensity of 24.9 kg CO₂e/m² in 2024 (2023: 26.9 kg CO₂e/m²), Peach Property Group reduced its emissions for the third consecutive year (environmental metrics are based on 2024 data). The company is therefore already well below its 2030 target of less than 30 kg CO₂e/m² and remains firmly on track towards achieving a climate-efficient portfolio by 2050 (target: less than 10 kg CO₂e/m²).
Key levers include the modernization of heating systems, improvements to building insulation and a continued focus on the strategic portfolio. In 2025, Peach Property Group invested approximately EUR 7.4 million to enhance the energy efficiency of its portfolio. Of this amount, EUR 1.76 million was invested in heating system modernization, EUR 2.41 million in roof renovations, and EUR 3.22 million in additional measures such as facade, window and riser pipe refurbishments. As a result, the portfolio's building energy consumption decreased by 13 %, reaching 121 kWh/m² in 2024 (2023: 140 kWh/m²).
CDP "B" Rating and EPRA Gold Award
In 2025, Peach Property Group once again submitted a detailed questionnaire on environmental and sustainability issues to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and was awarded a "B" rating for the second consecutive year – the highest rating in the small and medium-sized enterprise category. For the third consecutive year, the company also received the Gold Award from the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) for its sustainability reporting. In addition, Peach Property Group significantly improved its performance in the S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
Focus on Employees and Diversity
As of the end of 2025, Peach Property Group employed 225 people (2024: 208), 50 % of whom were women (2024: 48 %). The 2025 employee survey, which is conducted every two years, shows a solid level of satisfaction and a high willingness to recommend the employer to others. The results are on par with those of the previous employee survey from 2023. There has been a positive trend in workplace safety: despite an increase in working hours, the number of reportable workplace accidents has declined.
Gerald Klinck, CEO/CFO of Peach Property Group, states:
«In 2025, we continued to consistently implement our sustainability strategy. By using artificial intelligence to collect our emissions data, we were able to further improve the efficiency, quality, and transparency of our environmental metrics. At the same time, we are making targeted investments in the decarbonization and energy efficiency of our strategic portfolio. In this way, we are creating long-term value for our stakeholders and are steadily working toward a climate-efficient portfolio by 2050.»
