Hoenle AG: Forecast adjustment: Weakness in mechanical engineering weighs on Hoenle Group

Gilching (pta015/22.07.2026/10:45 UTC+2)

The economic weakness in mechanical and plant engineering is also weighing on the business development of the Hoenle Group. The Management Board is therefore adjusting its forecast for the 2025/26 financial year.

The Management Board had expected sales of € 95 million to € 105 million and an operating result before depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of € 6 million to € 9 million for the Hoenle Group for the 2025/26 financial year. Based on the current state of knowledge, the Management Board expects the Hoenle Group to generate sales of € 92 million to € 95 million (previous year: € 93.7 million) and operating profit before depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of € 5 million to € 6 million (previous year: €5.8 million) in the 2025/26 financial year.

The background to the forecast adjustment is the continuing reluctance to invest in mechanical engineering, especially in the printing industry. In addition, the market environment is being impacted by structural changes and consolidations within the industry, which has a significant impact on the business development of the Curing Business Unit. By contrast, sales and earnings in the Adhesive Systems and Disinfection Business Units were clearly higher than in the previous year and in line with expectations.

As planned, Hoenle AG will publish the Q3 announcement for the financial year 2025/26 on 18.08.2026.
