Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft: Supervisory Board appoints new Chairman of the Board of Management

At today's meeting, the Supervisory Board of the Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft took decisions on succession planning for the position of Chairman of the Board of Management:

With effect from 14 May 2026, the Supervisory Board appointed Dr.-Ing. Milan Nedeljković as the new Chairman of the Bord Management. Dr.-Ing. Milan Nedeljković has worked for the BMW Group since 1993 and has been Member of the Board of Management responsible for Production since 1 October 2019.

The current Chairman of the Board of Management, Oliver Zipse, will – by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board – resign as Chairman and Member of the Board of Management at the end of 13 May 2026, the day planned for the 2026 Annual General Meeting. His term of office was last extended in 2023 until 2026.
