Rosenbauer International AG: Changes to the Executive Board of Rosenbauer International AG

The Supervisory Board of Rosenbauer International AG has appointed Thomas Biringer as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He will take up his position on June 1, 2025. The appointment is for three years. Thomas Biringer has already been Rosenbauer's interim CTO since February 2024.

At the same time, the Supervisory Board was informed by Markus Richter that he would like to terminate his mandate as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at his own request at the end of June. The Supervisory Board has agreed to this request. Until a successor is appointed, CEO Robert Ottel will temporarily take over the responsibilities of the CFO.

Born in Upper Austria, Thomas Biringer, 57, studied mechatronics at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz and gained extensive experience in the international vehicle industry, including MAGNA, BMW and Daimler and most recently at the Schwarzmüller Group, a leading manufacturer of truck bodies. Thomas Biringer already supported Rosenbauer in setting up a production facility in 2009 and has been interim CTO at Rosenbauer since February 2024.
