  • Frequentis received "Best Innovation Award in Investor Relations - Small Cap"
  • Also finalist in the "Best Investor Relations Programme - Small Cap" category
  • Strong competition due to record number of participating companies

"This award is recognition of our efforts to optimise our investor relations tools to meet the needs of investors with regard to the changing nature of obtaining information and new communication channels," says Frequentis CEO Norbert Haslacher.

The Best Practice Awards, which are being presented for the 23rd time by the London-based Investor Relations Society, recognise the achievements of companies that are committed to first-class engagement with investors.

The coronavirus pandemic has created entirely new investor groups with completely different information needs. Studies by German universities show that the information behaviour of young shareholders is sometimes completely different. It was therefore important for Frequentis to refine its investor relations tools and channels.

"In order to address the heterogeneous group of shareholders in German-speaking countries in a target group-oriented manner, the following instruments, among others, have been used in recent years: video interviews, webinars with the Executive Board also for private shareholders, editorial articles, perception studies," explains Dr Eva Reuter, managing director of Dr Reuter Investor Relations. "We are delighted that the IR Society jury has recognised this commitment."

The judges from the IR society applauded the very different and unique approach to trying to reach new audiences. They admired the intellectual content and the quality of the evaluation in the submission. It was considered a novel approach and there were many creative elements and they explained well what they are trying to do. Overall, an innovative and original idea and a logical starting point in segmenting the investor market.
