Rating above industry average in all criteria

Vienna (pta014/29.11.2022/10:30 UTC+1)

The Frequentis Group is committed to sustainability in all of its actions, in accordance with its corporate mission "for a safer world",. With a silver medal in the current EcoVadis rating, Frequentis is among the top 25 percent of companies evaluated by the world's largest sustainability ratings provider. Frequentis was rated above the industry average in all four categories - environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

"We see our activities in the area of sustainability as an opportunity for the further development of our group of companies," says Peter Skerlan, CFO responsible for environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) agendas on the Frequentis Executive Board. For more than 75 years, Frequentis has been helping to make the world a safer place with its communication and information solutions.

"Receiving the silver medal in the EcoVadis rating, especially in our anniversary year, is therefore both a recognition and an incentive for our future activities in the area of sustainability," Peter Skerlan continued. "We were able to improve in all areas compared to the previous year's rating and are now above the industry average."

In 2021, the company published its third non-financial report. At Frequentis, sustainability is an fundamental component of a holistic corporate self-image and extends along the entire value chain, including suppliers. Group-wide coverage and networking of the large number of ESG sub-aspects, as well as the development of further sustainability concepts, is carried out by an efficient ESG organisation.
