GIEAG reports further leasing success for GERLINGEN WORK

  • More than 80 per cent of the total space let

Munich/Stuttgart, 14.01.2022 - The nationwide project developer GIEAG Immobilien AG (GIEAG) has recorded a further leasing success at its large-scale office complex GERLINGEN WORK in Gerlingen near Stuttgart. BNP Paribas Cardif in Germany has been secured as a long-term tenant. BNP Paribas Cardif is the international insurance company of the leading French banking group BNP Paribas. The leased office space comprises more than 3,200 square metres on the third floor as well as on the staggered floor of the modern office complex at Dieselstraße 5 in Gerlingen. The letting came about with the support of BNP Paribas Real Estate.

"We are very pleased that we have been able to take another important step for GERLINGEN WORK with another successful letting. This means that around 80 per cent of the total space in the second construction phase has now been let on a long-term basis. The remaining space is being marketed by Immoraum GmbH as the lead broker," explains Jürgen Gerst, Managing Director of the project company. "The leasing success came about because we are able to offer customised solutions. Despite the current discussion about the importance of office workplaces and their future, we were able to implement our tenant's high demands for a modern and future-oriented workplace," Gerst adds.

Philipp Pferschy, CEO of GIEAG, comments: "As a project developer, we attach great importance to the property and the range of uses it offers providing added value for our tenants and their employees. In addition to our previous well-known tenants such as Robert Bosch GmbH, SAP, Aramark as a gastronomy service provider and a professionally managed fitness studio, we are now very pleased to have gained another attractive tenant for GERLINGEN WORK in the form of Cardif".
