Herford (pta010/07.09.2020/09:25) - The Supervisory Board of Ahlers AG has appointed Mr. Simon Tabler (44) as CFO with effect from 1 December 2020. In addition to his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Simon Tabler will also assume responsibility for IT, Human Resources, Logistics and Foreign Operations on the Management Board. As planned, he will succeed Dr. Karsten Kölsch, who, having attained the age of 60, will leave Ahlers AG at his own request at the end of November 2020 after more than 13 years on the company's Management Board. "The Supervisory Board has always very much appreciated Dr. Kölsch's expertise and commitment," said Alexander Gedat, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ahlers AG. "We are pleased to have signed up Simon Tabler, a highly experienced and renowned financial expert, as the new CFO of Ahlers AG."
Having joined the company a year ago, Simon Tabler is well prepared for his new role. Since September 1, 2019, he has served as the new managing director of Ahlers Zentralverwaltung GmbH, with responsibility for controlling and accounting. At the same time, he served as commercial managing director of Ahlers P.C. GmbH alongside Karl-Friedrich Schielmann (spokesperson of the management).
Simon Tabler joined Ahlers from Holy AG, Metzingen, for which he served as Director of Finance and Administration and member of the management from 2014 to 2019. In this role, he was able to gain comprehensive e-commerce experience. He had previously held management positions in finance and consulting at BayWa AG and Porsche AG.
"I am convinced that with Simon Tabler I have a very competent CFO at my side to lead Ahlers AG into a successful future in these challenging times," said Dr. Stella A. Ahlers, CEO of Ahlers AG. "I would like to thank Karsten Kölsch for the excellent and trusting cooperation and his great commitment to Ahlers AG and wish him all the best for the future."
