iQ International AG: iQ International AG Listed on Frankfurt Exchange and Elects Four New Board Members

iQ International AG (ISIN CH0451424300 / WKN A2PAA5 / Symbol IQL) is now listed on the Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. With nearly USD2 trillion dollars in capital, Frankfurt is the largest German stock exchange and the 12th largest in the world.
The up listing to Frankfurt came just over a month after a successful Annual General Meeting which took place on 15th November 2019. All motions were passed by the shareholders, including the election of four new Board Members. iQ International is pleased to announce that four very experienced and highly respected business executives have joined the Board of Directors: Roland Koch, Frank Sportolari, Michael Tapp and Christian Katz. These new board members join the current board of George Weiss, Won-Lak Choi and Gilles Thièry. The addition of these executives to iQ International's board underscores the commitment the company has to executing its strong growth plans with the support of capable, highly successful people.

George Weiss: Mr. Weiss is an accomplished board member, attorney, entrepreneur, and management advisor with forty plus years of senior management and investing experience. He is the founder and CEO of Beechtree Capital LLC, a thirty plus year old private investment firm operating in New York and Arizona. George was an investor and board member of numerous other publicly and privately held companies. He has served on the Board of Directors and on the Audit, Executive, Nominating and Governance, and/or Compensation Committees of over 20 private, AMEX and NYSE companies; and Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Board in 12 of these companies. George's advisory and investment expertise has contributed to the growth and success of numerous successful companies. He has personally led or participated in over 120 equity venture transactions aggregating over USD700 Million as well as institutional debt and equity transactions involving over USD1 Billion. Currently, Mr. Weiss serves as iQ International's Executive Chairman and the chairman of the Executive Committee.

Roland Koch: Currently the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UBS Europe SE, Mr. Koch also served as a Member of the Hessian parliament and was appointed as the Premier of the Federal State of Hessen and held this position until 2010, when he left politics altogether. Mr. Koch has held numerous board positions with prominent companies including Bilfinger SE, Mannheim, UBS Deutschland AG, UBS Europe SE, Vodafone Deutschland GmbH and the Peter-Dussmann-Foundation. Mr. Koch has his own office as attorney at law in Frankfurt am Main and is Professor of Management Practice in Regulated Environments at the Frankfurt School of Finance. With iQ International, Mr. Koch is a Member of the Capital Markets Committee and Compensation Committee.

Frank Sportolari: Currently the President of UPS Germany, Mr. Sportolari has worked in numerous leadership roles with UPS throughout Europe, including as the Controller in Munich, Cologne, Neuss, Spain, Portugal and Italy. This was followed by taking on the position as the Vice President of European Strategy and the Managing Director for UPS in Italy. In April 2018, Mr. Sportolari was elected President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany. Additionally, he serves as vice chairman of the CDU Business Council International Commission and on the boards of several industry and charitable organizations. He is a start-up mentor at the Founder Institute Cologne Chapter. With iQ International, Mr. Sportolari is a Member of the Strategic Operations Committee and the Compensation Committee.

Christian Katz: Currently Mr. Katz is Founder, Chairman and Managing Partner at MainStrait, Zürich, a finance and fintech focused consulting firm. He serves on several boards, including as Vice Chairman of the Board of Saxo Bank (Switzerland), as a Board Member at Banque Bonhote, and a Board Member at Dreyfus Sons & Cie. Banquiers. He is also the Executive Chairman at Blockworks, which operates the first regulated crypto and token exchange in Switzerland. Previously, Mr Katz worked as CEO of SIX Swiss Exchange and Member of the SIX Group Executive Board, Switzerland's integrated exchange and infrastructure group. During his time as CEO of SIX Swiss Exchange he also served as Vice Chairman of STOXX and Scoach and as Board Member and later President of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges in Brussels, Belgium. Prior to that he held leading positions in global investment banking, most notably as Managing Director of Goldman Sachs and Vice President of JP Morgan. With iQ International, Mr. Katz is a Member of the Capital Markets Committee and the Audit Committee.

Michael Tapp: Currently, Mr. Tapp serves as a Board Director for SharedLABS and an advisor to several growth-stage company CEOs. He is also an active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Young President's Organization (YPO). Previously, Mr. Tapp served as an Operating Partner for HBC Investments, a private growth equity investment manager, and as an industry advisor for several private equity funds. Additionally, he was an Officer of Interstate Battery, one of the largest starting-lighting-ignition battery distributors in the US automotive aftermarket, where he served as President of All Battery Centers Inc., President of PowerCare Service and Solutions Inc., and Sr. Director of Marketing Intelligence. Before joining Interstate, Mr. Tapp served on the Board of Managers for Fluid Compressor Partners and as Chief Strategy & Operating Officer for Macfarlan Capital Partners. During this time, he also served on the Executive Committee of the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University's Mays School of Business. With iQ International, Mr. Tapp is a Member of the Strategic Operations Committee and will chair the Advisory Board.

Won-Lak Choi: Won-Lak has many years of experience in corporate banking, project finance, ship finance, construction finance, including the fields of credit analysis, risk management, asset management, M&A and general management. He started his banking career in IBK, Korea, in the areas of credit analysis, planning and coordination. Mr. Choi moved to UK's Lloyds Bank in the position of Senior Marketing Executive responsible for construction and project finance in the Middle East and later was promoted to Deputy Country Manager in Lloyds Bank, Korea Branch. Mr. Choi served in senior leadership roles with ING Bank, Korea Branch, Daehan Investment and Trust Co., C&V Asset Management Company, CIC Private Equity and KOSDAQ, a South Korean stock market. Mr. Choi has been serving as one of the directors for the iQ Group since 2008 and is currently a member of the Audit Committee.

Gilles Thiery: Mr. Thiéry has vast finance experience advising companies in matters related to audits, implementation of internal control system and quality, financial analysis and business valuation, coaching during the establishment of new business and restructuring, corporate succession planning and national tax questions. Currently, Mr. Gilles serves as General Manager at LacMont, Zug, an enterprise offering a comprehensive and experienced team supporting customers in the fields of accounting, auditing and consulting and as the CFO at Medena Holding AG, Affoltern am Albis. In the past, Mr. Thiéry as acted as a senior executive or manager for several companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Fidinter Treuhand AG, and Pfleiderer Schweiz, Baar. With iQ International, Mr. Thiéry is a member of the Audit Committee.
