Brussels/Vienna (pta035/27.02.2019/12:30 UTC+1) Gerhard Handler accepts mission to drive Central and Eastern European business growth, while Nathalie Kohn will focus on HR responsibilities for Emakina Group, Rainer Friedl and Mark Kaslatter take over management of Emakina.AT as co-MDs.

Over the last years, Emakina Group http://www.emakina.at recorded significant growth in Central and Eastern Europe. To boost this positive evolution, the full-service digital agency further reinforces its leadership. Gerhard Handler will focus his efforts on business growth of Emakina's agencies in Croatia and Poland, as well as external growth in Central and Eastern Europe, while remaining Chairman of the Board of Directors for this region. He hands over the management of Emakina.AT to Rainer Friedl and Mark Kaslatter, who become co-MDs of the Vienna-based company.

Today Emakina employs over 120 talents in the Central and Eastern Europe region, as part of a European digital agency network with over 950 digital experts. They deliver integrated web building, applications, e-commerce and CRM services, and help their clients with the efficient digitisation of their business.

Gerhard Handler (48) founded diamond:dogs - now Emakina.AT - in Vienna in 1999. He remains the Chairman of the regional CEE Board of Emakina, focusing more on the growth of Emakina's business in Croatia and Poland, and external growth in the CEE region.

Nathalie Kohn (46), a co-founder and co-CEO of diamond:dogs, subsequently COO, who was in charge of HR for Emakina in Austria, will also take on a new international challenge, developing international HR Management for the group.

Rainer Friedl and Mark Kaslatter, two seasoned senior managers in the Vienna company, take over the role of co-Managing Directors of Emakina.AT. They will advance the agency's integrated digital services and the solid partnerships with world-class platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft and Kentico. The agency's management team further consists of CFO Christian Handler and Interim COO Chris Budgen, both long-standing colleagues in the agency.

Rainer Friedl (45) has been active in digital technology since 1994. He joined the company is 2000 as developer and rose through the ranks to become CTO, playing a very active role in the growth of Emakina's market-leading partnership with Kentico. He also actively facilitated the adoption of other technologies and agile delivery practices. Rainer is highly appreciated for his broad market and technology knowledge, his team spirit, and his efficient support of key clients.

Mark Kaslatter (43) is a trusted senior expert in customer relationship management, with a strong reputation in the DACH region. As a certified partner of Siebel/Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and Salesforce, his specialised consultancy delivers advisory services, implementation and support since 2004. His team won 'Partner of the Year' awards from both Microsoft and Salesforce and was listed in the Top 20 Leading Companies in Austria. His firm joined Emakina Group in 2016.
