CR Capital Real Estate AG: Ground broken in Schkeuditz near Leipzig

Berlin (pta008/06.04.2017/07:30 UTC+2) On Monday, 3 April 2017 at 1 p.m. local time, Stefan Demske, Chairman of CR Capital Real Estate AG, broke ground on a new construction site located in Schkeuditz near Leipzig. He was joined by Schkeuditz mayor Jörg Enke.

Across a plot size of approx. 86,000 sq. metres (roughly 21 acres), the first construction phase will encompass an area of about 26,000 sq. metres and will feature appealing town homes with upscale features available at attractive prices. During the course of the project, CR Capital Real Estate AG will be able to fall back on its many years of experience as a property developer. As opposed to the competition, CR Capital Real Estate AG achieves a significantly better price-performance ratio through efficient planning, standardised construction and the development of large sites.

The city of Schkeuditz in Saxony is located in close proximity to the commercial centres of Leipzig and Halle. Approx. 2 million people live in this economic region. The area is shaped by major companies in the automotive industry (BMW, Porsche) as well as through the logistics and retail industry (DHL). Leipzig enjoys a good international reputation and is often referred to as the "better Berlin". The growing population, the creation of numerous jobs, increasing salaries as well as a modern infrastructure create the optimal conditions for the future development of the site.

The first construction phase is scheduled for completion by the end of 2018.
