Dr. Hönle AG: Change in the Supervisory Board of Dr. Hönle AG

Gräfelfing/München (pta023/08.04.2015/16:29 UTC+2) Professor Dr. Karl Hönle, previously Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board took over as Chairman of the Controlling Body of the listed Dr. Hönle AG (ISIN: DE0005157101) and thus succeeds Dr. Hans-Joachim Vits, who has departed from the Supervisory Board. Professor Hönle is one of the founders of Dr. Hönle Aktiengesellschaft and has been a member of the company's Supervisory Board since 1999. He is Professor Emeritus at Munich University, held the chair for Technical Optics and Laser Technology and was an authorized representative for the technology transfer and trade fair participation of Bavarian applied sciences universities. As member of the Panel, Professor Hönle heads the "Labor für Lichttechnik" (GbR) and is a member of the Authorized Standardization Committee for Light Technology at the German Institute for Standardization [Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN)]. In addition, Professor Hönle is Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Hönle Medizintechnik GmbH.

Mr. Günther Henrich was elected as new member of the Supervisory Board. Mr. Henrich is Advisory Board Chairman of Pfeifer Holding GmbH & Co. KG, Memmingen. Following his activities at the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Bavaria, and at LfA Förderbank Bavaria, Mr. Henrich held the position of Chief Executive Officer of BayBG Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH and its predecessor companies from 1987 to 2012. Mr. Henrich contributed significantly to BayBG's current positioning as market leader for private equity of SMEs in Bavaria with some 500 companies and an investment volume of about Eur 320 million. As a consequence, he has an extensive network in the Bavarian industry. He took on various supervisory and advisory board mandates at small-and medium-sized companies. Moreover, Mr. Henrich was active as Chairman of an expert group and Board member of German Association of Equity Investment Companies [BVK Bundesverband deutscher Kapitalbeteiligungsgesellschaften]. Mr. Henrich assumes office as the Deputy Chairman of the Dr. Hönle AG Supervisory Board.

Dr. Bernhard Gimple was also elected as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Dr. Gimple has been active as an attorney in Munch since 2001. After completing his law studies and gaining his doctorate from Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich, Dr. Gimple initially worked for several nationwide law firms before founding, together with a colleague, the SOLEOS law firm in the year 2011. Since November 2005, the trained banker has additionally been active as bond trustee for Stadtsparkasse Munich [Pfandbrieftreuhänder der Stadtsparkasse München].

In addition, the Supervisory Board and the Management Board would like to thank the members who are leaving the controlling body. Dr. Hans-Joachim Vits and Eckhard Pergande have been closely related to the company for many years. Both have been active as members of the Supervisory Board since 1999.
