Bielefeld (pta015/13.09.2013/12:55 UTC+2) Alexander Rechter, the CEO of Biogas Nord AG, has released today the following statement:

With regret we announce that our subsidiary Biogas Nord Anlagenbau GmbH has begun preliminary insolvency proceedings today. The reasons for this insolvency application are high debts and recent liquidity difficulties. Together with the preliminary insolvency administrator, Dr. Norbert Westhoff, the management plans the continuance of operation as well as durable restructuring. Biogas Nord AG and the other companies in the Biogas Nord Group are not initially affected by the preliminary insolvency proceedings.
