15 telecoms companies launch "eMobility Technology Platform"

Swedish mobile phone operator Ericsson http://www.ericsson.com has announced today that it and 14 other telecommunications companies have launched the eMobility Platform for mobile and wireless communications. As the company reports in a press release on its website, the platform is designed to enhance cooperation amongst industry players, including the research community and public authorities, most notably the European Commission.
