PHOTON ENERGY INVESTMENTS N.V.: Bond in premium-segment of Vienna Stock Exchange

Amsterdam / Vienna (pta013/19.12.2013/11:30 UTC+1) The 8% corporate bond (2013-2018) of the long-term owner of solar power plants has been introduced to trading in the Corporates Prime Segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange. Interested investors can subscribe to the bond until the end of January. Photon Energy Investments offers a quarterly coupon and above-average transparence, which is why it qualified for the premium segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The issuer's business model is built on the sale of electricity from its own power plants on the basis of long-term contracts and feed-in-tariffs.

The 8% corporate bond of Photon Energy Investments N.V. has been introduced to trading on the Vienna Stock Exchange. The company is also undertaking an additional placement following the presentation of a new business model specifically designed to conquer the Australian solar market. The Australian subsidiary Photon Energy Generation Australia recently launched revolutionary financing models with the aim to expand the company's portfolio of power plants. Photon Energy Investments has since announced the signing of three new contracts for projects in Australia.

Photon Energy Investments has been on the radar thanks to its quarterly coupon payments. "Our revenues come from the sale of energy from our own power plants, based on stable feed-in-tariffs, Commercial Hire Purchase Agreements or Power Purchase Agreements", explains CEO Georg Hotar. In contrast to many other companies in the solar segment Photon Energy Investments is solely a holder of its portfolio of power plants in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and Australia. "We follow a low-risk strategy and build on long-term plannable cash flows, which allows us to pay investors a coupon every three months", adds Hotar.

The Corporates Prime Segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange only lists bonds that fulfill strict criteria, including high transparency standards. Photon Energy Investments has already set a benchmark by publishing not only annual reports, but voluntary quarterly and monthly reports. "We know that information is the lifeblood of investor relations, which is why we have set ourselves the bar extremely high in terms of transparency", says CEO Georg Hotar.

Interested investors can subscribe to the bond with a denomination of 1,000 EUR and a term until 2018 until 31 January 2014 using the ISIN DE000A1HELE2. The bond can be subscribed to through banks, Brokerjet or directly through the issuer on the website www.photonenergyinvestments.com. The website also contains the bond prospectus and extensive additional information. Paul Putz and Partner Management Consultants act as Capital Market Coach for the bond.
