Hoenle AG: Hoenle Group improved its operating profit before depreciation to EUR 5.8 million in the 2024/25 financial year

Gilching (pta004/08.12.2025/08:00 UTC+1)

  • A weak market environment and reorganization measures led to a decline in revenue from EUR 98.7 million to EUR 93.7 million
  • Despite the decline in revenue, operating profit before depreciation (EBITDA) improved from EUR 3.0 million (adjusted EUR 5.5 million) to EUR 5.8 million
  • Figures are therefore in the upper range of the most recently communicated guidance
  • Revenue and earnings are expected to increase moderately in the new fiscal year

The Hoenle Group today publishes preliminary and unaudited figures for the 2024/25 financial year. According to these figures, revenues of EUR 93.7 million were below the previous year's figure of EUR 98.7 million. The reluctance to invest in mechanical and plant engineering, as well as the slowdown in the automotive sector, had a noticeable impact on the business performance of the Hoenle Group's Curing and Adhesive Systems business units.

Cost-cutting measures, efficiency improvements, and a revised product mix are proving effective and enabled the company to improve its results despite the lower revenue level. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased from EUR 3.0 million (adjusted EUR 5.5 million) to EUR 5.8 million.

Outlook

The Hoenle Group's market environment remains characterized by heightened uncertainty. Geopolitical tensions and a subdued investment appetite in certain customer segments are impacting visibility.

Against this backdrop, the Management Board expects moderate revenue growth to between EUR 95 million and EUR 105 million for the 2025/26 financial year, assuming essentially stable macroeconomic conditions. The Hoenle Group's operating profit before depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) is expected to be in the range of EUR 6 to 9 million. The lower end of this range reflects a scenario of continued subdued demand, while the upper end anticipates a noticeable recovery in project activities.

This forecast is based in particular on the assumption that there will be no significant escalation of the geopolitical situation and that the internally planned measures for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and project realisation will be implemented as scheduled. Should these assumptions change significantly, the Management Board will review the forecast and adjust it if necessary.

The full annual report 2024/25 will be published on January 30, 2026 and can then be downloaded from https://www.hoenle.com/investors/publications/.
