Correction to the October 14, 2025 release on the increase in earnings with regard to a typo in the reference to the prior-year period in the English version.
Südzucker expects significant increase in earnings in the third quarter of the current financial year 2025/26
After a positive start to the third quarter of financial year 2025/26 (1 September to 30 November 2025), Südzucker AG expects a significant improvement in both EBITDA and operating profit for the full quarter compared to the prior-year period (Q3 2024/25: EBITDA: EUR 82 million; operating result: EUR -33 million).
Forecast for the current financial year 2025/26 confirmed
Südzucker confirms the forecast for financial year 2025/26 that was revised on August 21, 2025 and reaffirmed on October 9, 2025 as part of the half-year report 2025/26 (1 March 2025 to 28 February 2026) and expects a significant decline in group revenues between EUR 8.3 and 8.7 billion. Group EBITDA is expected between EUR 470 and 570 million and group operating result is expected between EUR 100 and 200 million.
In this forecast for the 2025/26 financial year, it remains important to acknowledge that the future business performance of the Südzucker Group continues to be subject to significant uncertainties due to the ongoing geopolitical and global economic developments.
