Lake Neusiedl goes Bird Fair

Hosting a joint stand at Europe's largest gathering of birdwatchers

Neusiedl (Burgenland, Austria) (pts011/31.07.2018/09:00) Birdwatchers have become an important and highly welcome guest segment in the Lake Neusiedl region, specifically in the Lake Neusiedl-Seewinkel national park area. No wonder: the national park is one of Europe's hot spots for ornithologists and bird lovers. It was therefore only natural for the national park administration, the Lake Neusiedl Tourist Board and St. Martins Spa & Lodge with its guided nature tours and safaris to team up for a major event.

The three partners are planning to present themselves jointly at the Bird Fair, Europe's largest gathering of birdwatchers, which is hosted from 17 to 19 August 2018 in Rutland. On a shared fair stand, the experts will inform thousands of visitors from all over the world about birdwatching opportunities, news, touristic programmes and activities in and around the Lake Neusiedl-Seewinkel national park. Bird watchers are a sophisticated clientele who fancy not only the sheer endless ways of exploring nature in the Pannonian lowlands, but also the high-end accommodations which are all set in unspoilt natural surroundings.
