Oliver Stamp presents his digital portrait art to the public for the first time at the SWISSARTEXPO 2020

From 20 - 24 August 2020 in the SBB Event Hall at Zurich Main Station

Zurich (ptp021/06.08.2020/12:00) The German artist Oliver Stamp announces today that his art will be presented to the public for the first time in its original form at the SWISSARTEXPO from 20 - 24 August 2020 at Zurich's main railway station. The SWISSARTEXPO is an art festival where artists of all genres come together in a diverse and colorful exhibition in one of the most visited halls in Europe.

The autodidact Oliver Stamp comes from Augsburg in Bavaria, Germany. He first explored the limitless possibilities of art and creation with computer technology in the early 2000's, and over the years has constantly developed and perfected his artistic skills in digital art and photography. A special feature of his sensuous works of art is generative design, a discipline in computer technology that is also used in the professional fields of design and engineering. In this technique, various algorithms simplify the working process and develop a multitude of new ways of visual expression.

Despite the very technical tools, Oliver Stamp succeeds in creating portraits that impress with their richness of emotion. He skillfully embeds the deeply touching faces in abstract elements. This creates a play of soft pastel shades and bright colours, which endows the artworks with a special tension. The artist found the inspiration for his work mainly in the pain that his past mistakes have caused and the decision not to commit any more. Music, films and other artists additionally encourage his creativity and artistic expression.

Today the artist is pleased to announce that his art will find its way to the public for the first time in the heart of Zurich at the art festival SWISSARTEXPO. What previously only his closest friends were privileged to enjoy will be made accessible to the eyes of thousands in the venerable hall of Zurich's main railway station from 20 to 24 August 2020. His artwork "KATJA" will be part of the exhibition as a photo print behind acrylic glass.
