Soul images in nature - Special artist catalogue at the SWISSARTEXPO

The artworks of Petra B. Römhildt will be presented in a new art catalogue at the SWISSARTEXPO

Zurich (ptp032/08.08.2019/15:30) The artist Petra B. Römhildt announces today that her new artist catalogue with artworks on 20 pages will be presented at this year's SWISSARTEXPO. Furthermore, she was able to convince the jury of the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zürich 1.0, which will take place during SWISSARTEXPO, with her work of art "Magic" and was elected semi-finalist. The Swiss Arts Festival will take place from 15th to 19th August 2019 in Zurich's Main Station Hall - around 400,000 visitors are expected.

Petra B. Römhildt, who lives in Sweden loves nature and works exclusively with motifs she finds there. Born and raised in Berlin, she has now lived in Sweden for almost 20 years. There she is inspired by nature and the special lighting atmosphere of the far north to create pictures that convey valuable messages to the viewer. She creates works of art that encourage, bring happiness and lift the spirits.

All the works in her new catalogue tell of a powerful moment in the elements. She freezes this unique moment of light, water and movement and creates sculptures with her pictures that tell of a graceful transience. These crystal-clear sculptures are drawn almost supernaturally sharp and cast a spell over the viewer. At the same time one feels that nature must have been stirred up for a short moment for this picture. The composition of her pictures seems to be random - partly cut off at the top or bottom, partly the object is right at the top of the picture, as if it wanted to elude the image. This makes each of her pictures unique - the moment remains unprocessed and raw, radiating the full power of nature.

The artist herself describes the cosmic interplay of object, light and colour as soul images. For her work she only needs the natural beauty and the moment of the present being, so that the soul is visibly touched. Her credo is: "Transform the old and accept the new, and experience the infinity of change, dissolution and liberation. Bring clarity into your life now". Her pictures are called "The Dragon", "The Elephant" or "The Column". With these names she gives her pictures their own interpretation and meaning - and to the observer a guide to the reception of the pictures. Pictures that give strength, convey clarity and can help their viewers in life.
