The expert jury voting is now followed by a public online voting. The innovation of iQ Power Licensing, the passive electrolyte mixing for starter batteries, offers considerable advantages, both for the consumer and for the environment and sustainability: Car batteries with integrated electrolyte mixing achieve a double life time and a double the number of cycle counts. The mixing technology is based on non-moving (passive) simple plastic components in the battery. Coupled with the forces from the vehicle dynamics when driving, these components provide automatic and efficient 360 degree circulation and a complete electrolyte mixing in the battery. Moreover, the quantity of lead in circulation could be permanently reduced by around two million tonnes per year.
