S&T System Integration & Technology Distribution AG: S&T Appoints Michael Lanik as Chief Restructuring Officer

Vienna (pta014/25.01.2011/09:30 UTC+1) The Supervisory Board of S&T AG has appointed Michael Lanik as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO). Michel Lanik will assume the position of CRO and Spokesman of the Management Board effective 31 January 2011. The focus of his work will lie on the development and implementation of the company's restructuring efforts. Lanik will complement the current Management Board consisting of Martin Bergler (CFO), Peter Trawnicek (COO) and Peter Sturz (COO).

Michael Lanik, born in Salzburg in 1947, studied computer science with focus on ERP-systems in Vienna and Paderborn. He subsequently worked for 14 years in the computer industry. Lanik has more than 20 years of experience as a restructuring specialist, CRO and turnaround manager, carrying out more than 30 mandates in different sectors. For three years Lanik was also the managing partner in a private equity fund. Most recently he was the sole member of the Management Board of a leading wholesale company in the sanitary and heating industry.
