MindMatics AG is nominated for the Mobile Marketing Association Awards 2007
Munich (pts037/07.11.2007/16:20) - MindMatics' mobile marketing campaign supporting the launch of the new Volkswagen EOS impressed the Awards Committee MindMatics AG is the only German company nominated for the Mobile Marketing Association's Global Annual Awards 2007 in the category "Best Use of Mobile Marketing - Product/Service Launch." As the largest provider of mobile marketing solutions worldwide, MindMatics demonstrates from its work on the launch campaign of the new Volkswagen EOS how to seamlessly integrate mobile elements in a large-scale marketing plan. MindMatics created a 360° campaign in cooperation with Tribal DDB Hamburg to generate leads and attract customers for the new Volkswagen EOS. The campaign spanned a period of 12 months and contained the following mobile elements: EOS road show including mobile showroom for the cell phone: The mobile showroom, a java client specially developed by MindMatics, could be downloaded for free via Bluetooth stations in nine cities. The mobile showroom featured a broad variety of information such as animated interior and exterior views of the car including detailed views, equipment/technology, brochure request, car dealer search as well as insurance and financing options. The EOS puzzle, downloads of driving video clips and wallpapers fueled the mobile entertainment. Combined SMS/email campaign: MindMatics enabled Volkswagen to generate additional potential buyers during the EON launch through a combined SMS/email campaign. Promotional SMS messages were sent directly to potential buyers of the MindMatics database once they had opted in. Mobile entertainment on the internet: Visitors of the Volkswagen homepage, http://www.volkswagen.de , could send free video clips and wallpapers directly to their cell phones. Cooperation with o2: A two week test-drive campaign was launched in cooperation with the mobile carrier, o2. EOS banners appeared on the homepage of the o2 Active Mobile Portal which is visited by over 4 million nsubscribers. In addition, select o2-clients received a MMS or SMS advertising the new Volkswagen EOS. Both the banner as well as the MMS/SMS were linked to a WAP-microsite created by MindMatics where the java client, wallpapers, video clips, brochure request and a registration for a test-drive was offered to visitors. Test drive CRM concept: Throughout the EOS launch, SMS reminders were sent to all persons who had registered with Volkswagen during the 12 month campaign in an effort to spur visitors to the Volkswagen showrooms for a test drive of the new EOS. Each year the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) recognizes the achievements and successes in mobile marketing and media. The MMA Global Annual Awards 2007 includes the categories, "Best Use of Mobile," "Marketing Innovation," and "Innovation for Creativity." The category "Best Use of Mobile" contains the sections "Branding," "Cross Media Integration," "Direct Response," "Product/Services Launch," "Promotion" and "Relationship Building."
